From the Desk of Principal: Dr. S. N. Shinde
Being the principal of Arts, Commerce and Science College, Nandgaon, I feel obliged to say few words about our college. I feel proud to be an employee of Maratha Vidhya Prasarak Samaj, Nashik, the second largest Educational Institution in Maharashtra. Considering the need of higher education in the area, the mother institution established the present college in 1972.
This college has a good educational legacy as it was accredited ‘B’ grade in 2002 and ‘A’ grade in 2011 by NAAC accreditation committee. In the same year, our college received ‘The Best College Award’ by Savitribai Phule Pune University in rural area. Though this college is located in drought-prone and poverty-stricken area, we have been trying our best to impart the quality education to the students. Our faculty members are always trying to impart academic quality education through regular classes, various schemes like Remedial Teaching, Soft-Skills Development Programme, Special Guidance Scheme, Skill-Development Programme and Network Resources. The college provides education to the under privileged students. The college has spacious infrastructure mainly the spacious main building with class-rooms and offices, Science Building, library, Girls’ Hostel, and Canteen. The college is not lagging behind in physical education too. We have 400 meter running track and well equipped Gymnasium. All the sport students, Alumni and even stakeholders make use of this ground and sport facilities. The college continuously helps the students to obtain various scholarships of the government and NGOs. We have well experienced and qualified staff. They are striving hard for betterment of all faculty and stakeholders through refresher, orientation and short term courses, conferences, seminars and research work. We have partially computerized and well equipped library. We have student-centre teaching and learning process. Do visit the website and our college individually. We are always looking forward to serve you.
Thank You!!
