Scope and Importance
The Department of Marathi of this college had been established in 1972. The mother institution, Maratha VidyaPrasarakSamaj, Nashik considered the need for Mother Language study to the students of rural areas and decided to start Marathi as a special subject in this college. Marathi is a regional language of Maharashtra as well as Administrative and Educational language and also Literature language. Marathi Literature introduces regional cultures and social reflections to Future Students and it develops ethics and life values. It develops linguistic literacy as well. There are many Career opportunities are available to make a career with the education background in B.A. or M.A Marathi. The most common and demanded one is the Teaching profession. There is a huge demand of skilled teachers for Marathi Language. Students can do your career in Following Fields: Marathi Writer, Call center for Marathi language, Marathi Acting, Marathi Singing, translator, Proof Reading, Teaching etc.
Mission: ‘‘To Enhance student’s Curiosity For Reading Literatures so as to develop their leadership skill, Language efficiency, National Integration, Environmental awareness, constitutional and social commitment and political, Nationalism Through Literatures.”
